About OPIE（OPTICS & PHOTONICS International Exhibition）


As a specialized exhibition for optics and photonics-related industries, OPIE boasts the largest scale in Japan. Every year in April, at the start of the new fiscal year, engineers and purchasing personnel who are seeking solutions for research and development and product development issues visit the exhibition.

At the same time, many researchers visit from the OPIC international conference related to optics and photonics (in 2024, it consisted of 16 international conferences and plenary sessions), and it has established itself as a place for active communication on new applications and technical issues.

The optics and photonics -specialized media company, Optronics, manages the exhibition and attracts visitors who have a strong interest in the exhibition theme through its unique network. There are many repeat visitors, and it has become a widely recognized exhibition in the optics and photonics industry, serving as a fixed observation point to grasp the trends in the industry.
