About OPIE(OPTICS & PHOTONICS International Exhibition)

This is Japan’s largest specialized exhibition held every April, where cutting-edge technologies and products in the fields of optical technology and photonics gather. Various technologies and products such as optical elements, lasers, infrared and ultraviolet technologies, and optical design are brought together, facilitating active exchanges in industry, academia, and research.

Many exhibitors from both domestic and international backgrounds participate, and new product announcements and demonstrations are also held, making it a notable venue for business negotiations and technical partnerships. Additionally, specialized seminars are held concurrently, introducing the latest technological trends and research results, providing visitors seeking optical technology with opportunities for learning and discovery. An international academic conference “OPIC” is also held in the adjacent venue.

We take pride in this exhibition as a hub for information and human resources in the optical industry, providing valuable opportunities for information gathering and networking for engineers and researchers.

What is the Quantum Innovation Fair ?

Quantum technology has the potential to bring significant changes to global society, economy, industry, and security. Currently, there is a fierce competition worldwide for its development. Additionally, the United Nations General Assembly has declared 2025 as the “International Year of Quantum Science and Technology” to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of quantum science. This reflects the growing international enthusiasm for quantum technology.

We have captured this global trend and planned the “Quantum Innovation Fair,” an exhibition that brings together quantum-related technologies and devices from both domestic and international sources. We welcome the participation of major technology companies as well as startups that are challenging the new future.
